by my sheer choices
or by circumstances?
I’m not sure; can you tell me
whether unconventionality
was my calling,
or life shaped me that way?
I’m only sure of living a life of values
even if it takes unusual tradeoffs.
If those are rebellious acts,
you can perhaps call me a ‘rebel.’
