Do your loved ones a favour. When they tell you about something they’re exploring, which you think they should have done earlier, refrain from saying, “You should have arrived there way before!” Just like you won’t do something unless you deem it necessary or valuable, even the people you care for won’t do so unless they want that for themselves. Honouring each other’s journeys is what makes us humans and empathic companions.
